Note from the Principal

Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for September 29th and October 2nd for Crete Elementary. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about your student’s academic progress and how we can work together as a team to ensure your student has a successful year. If you haven’t done so already, please call the elementary office to schedule your 15-minute time slot to visit with your student’s teachers. Upon arrival for your conference, please check in at the table located at the entrance. Preschool and first grade parents should check-in at Door #2, kindergarten parents check-in at Door #1, and second grade parents check-in at Door #17. Please give yourself a few minutes to check in so you can be on time for your conference.

Schedule:

Monday, September 29th: 6:00 - 8:30 PM

Thursday, October 2nd: 8:00 - 11:00 AM, 12:30 - 3:30 PM, 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Reminders

  • No school on October 2nd, 3rd, or 6th.

  • Due to professional development, there will be no school on October 13th.

  • For your child’s safety, please do not drop your child off for school before 7:30 AM. Staff supervision begins at 7:30 AM.

  • As the weather begins to change, make sure your child is prepared for colder weather. We will go outside in the morning and for recess.

  • If you would like to nominate a CES staff member who goes above and beyond, use this link, and they could be recognized by the district office.

  • To ensure the safety and well-being of all our spectators, we want to remind everyone of our policy regarding younger students. All K-5 students must be seated with a parent or guardian throughout the game. This policy helps us provide a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone attending the event. We appreciate your cooperation and support.

Music concert information

SKIP Flu Clinic:

Public Health Solutions is offering the SKIP Flu Immunization Clinic for students and families of Crete Elementary on Friday, October 17th. The clinic will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Public Health Solutions, 830 E. 1st Street, Suite 300, Crete, NE. Forms will be sent home next week. Completed forms need to be taken with you to the clinic and NOT returned to the school. If you have any questions, please call PHS at 402-826-3880.
