Note from the Principal

Thank you for attending the fall parent-teacher conferences. Parent-teacher conferences benefit student learning by allowing parents and teachers to connect and communicate about topics specific to their students. The staff at Crete Intermediate feels fortunate to have a parent-teacher conference participation rate of over 92%.

As the weather gets colder, please remember to drop your student off at school after 7:30 AM. The doors open, and there is supervision at that time. Students should also have appropriate clothing for the cold weather. We will go outside for recess as much as possible to give the students a much-needed break during the day.

Reminders

• Picture retakes will be on Tuesday, November 11th.

• The 5th-grade music program is on November 18th at 6:30.

• Special Visitor's Day is on Tuesday, November 25th, from 9:00-10:00.

• There will be no school on November 26th, 27th, and 28th.

• If you would like to nominate a CIS staff member who goes above and beyond, use this link, and they could be recognized by the district office.

Did you know...?

Set your student up for success. Research shows that students missing 10 days by December are more likely to fail at least one class. Maximize learning time by encouraging attendance when students are not sick.
