Dear Families of Crete Intermediate,

Welcome to the start of a wonderful new school year at Crete Intermediate! We are thrilled to have you as part of our school community and look forward to an exciting year of learning, growth, and fun. As we kick off the school year, we encourage you to stay connected, support your child’s learning, and be involved in our school community. Let’s make this year a fantastic one filled with memorable moments and great achievements!

As the year continues, if you have questions or concerns, please reach out. You can communicate with us through any of the following options:

  1. Call Crete Intermediate (402) 826-5833.

  2. Go to the Crete Public Schools website and click on the yellow button on the right side of the screen that says “Let’s Talk.”

  3. Go to the Crete Public Schools website, click on the intermediate tab and then select staff. You will be taken to a page with all the staff members and the option to email them.

Upcoming Events

  • The first day of school for 3rd Graders will be August 14th from 8:00-1:25.

  • The first day of school for 4th and 5th graders will be August 15th from 8:00-3:25.

  • School pictures will be on September 24th.

Important Information

  • The school busses will drop students off on the North side of the intermediate school. After school, the North lot will be used for busses only. Please plan to pick up your students on the South side of the school or the back parking lot of the middle school.

  • For the safety of the students, it is important that you drop off and pick up in the designated area in front of the intermediate building. Please pick up and drop off along the yellow-painted curb.

  • Student badges will be zip-tied to their backpacks. Please ensure the badges remain attached to their bags and that the students bring them every day. The badges will be used for bussing and breakfast.

  • Photo identification will be required when picking up students from the office during the school day. This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and security of all our students.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
