  • The first day of school for 4th and 5th graders will be August 14th from 8:00-3:25.

Important Information

  • The school buses will drop students off on the North side of the intermediate school. After school, the North lot will be used for buses only. Please plan to pick up your students on the South side of the school or the back parking lot of the middle school.

  • For the safety of the students, it is important that you drop off and pick up in the designated area in front of the intermediate building. Please pick up and drop off along the yellow-painted curb. Students should get in and out of the vehicle along the curb, so they aren't walking through traffic.

  • Doors 1 and 8 will open at 7:30 and will be locked at 8:00. If students arrive after 8:00, they will need to ring the bell at door 1 and check in at the office.

  • Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 7:55.

  • Student badges will be zip-tied to their backpacks. Please ensure the badges remain attached to their bags and that the students bring them daily. The badges will be used for busing and breakfast.

  • Photo identification will be required when picking up students from the office during the school day. This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and security of all our students.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Reminders

  • Free/reduced lunch forms can be found at the Cardinal Welcome Center and on our website.

  • If your student will be absent, please call our office before 8:05.

  • Monthly newsletters will be shared via email. They can also be found on our website.

Attendance Updates

Did you know...?

Don’t let 2 missed days define your year! Research shows that most students with just 2 absences in the first month of school go on to miss more than 25 days total. Start the year off strong by making sure students are in school whenever they are not sick.
