Note from the Principal

Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd for Crete Intermediate. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about your student’s academic progress and how we can work together as a team to ensure your student has a successful year. If you haven’t done so already, please call the intermediate office to schedule your 15-minute time slot to visit with your student’s teachers.

Schedule:

Wednesday, October 2nd: 6:00 - 8:30 PM

Thursday, October 3rd: 8:00 - 11:00 AM, 12:30 - 3:30 PM, 5:00 - 8:00 PM

Reminders

• The Scholastic Book Fair will be at the intermediate school this week. It will be held in the library and open during parent-teacher conferences on October 2nd and 3rd.

• No school on October 3rd, 4th, and 7th

• For your child’s safety, please do not drop your child off for school before 7:30 AM. Staff supervision begins at 7:30 AM.

• As the weather begins to change, make sure your child is prepared for colder weather. We will go outside in the morning and for recess.

• Homecoming information will be sent out this week. The dress-up days are listed below.

  • Tuesday, October 8th- Hawaiian/Neon Day

  • Wednesday, October 9th- Wacky Day

  • Thursday, October 10th- Pajama Day

  • Friday, October 11th- Cardinal Spirit Day

Children’s mental health is important. Students who miss just 2 days of school a month tend to be more stressed and anxious. Help lower student stress by encouraging attendance when students are feeling well.
